Lorin Franklin Jones (1889-1975) was an educator, missionary, and Mormon patriarch in Utah and New Mexico. Jones was born March 13, 1889 in Payson, Utah, to Timothy and Mary Jane Done Jones. He married Ivie Maude Huish April 9, 1913 in the Salt Lake Temple. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1920. He worked for the Extension Service in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
